In accordance with government guidance and on advice from our chartered society, this clinic will no longer be offering routine face to face appointments for non-acute conditions in the following weeks. However, our role will be in the following capacity:
-to offer free phone or face time consultations to help and support anyone in managing their conditions and pain independently, offering sound advice and talking through any concerns you may have.
-for those who feel that their level of concern would warrant a referral or if you feel that you would normally attend A&E or GP services for a non life threatening musculoskeletal / orthopaedic condition, we will provide an in person appointment, whilst making every effort to minimise risk, in order to support our local healthcare services.
-rehabilitation will prioritise those who have had recent surgery, fractures or those with acute or complex needs, including carers, with a focus on enabling self management.
-in addition, any vulnerable patient who is having concerns about getting the provisions they need, such as food, we will help in any capacity that we can.
-finally, for all our patients.... staying well isn't just physical and we will be missing our chats with you!!!! So if you fancy calling just to catch up, we would love to hear from you and you will be helping us too during this time of social distancing!!!!
Best wishes and we will see you soon!
Catherine and Christine.
